Wahey! Cedric has passed his 5* canoe and is now a Level Four coach

The Hostel

We're still in the long - haul process of upgrading our accommodation and facilities. So far we've:

• installed a new fire alarm system in the Glaramara Annex
• upgraded the fire alarm in the main centre and refurbished the fire doors
• repainted just about everywhere!
• installed a new washer/drier for customer use
• replaced all the duvets and bedlinen
• repainted most of the exterior woodwork and replaced all the cracked windows
• cleared the area to the rear of the centre, ready to put in the new patio
• changed all exterior doors to codelocks
• got the boot room all set up for bike storage - but unfortunately this now has to be the laundry so we're getting the old maintenance store revamped instead!

We know...

we've still got lots to do but, hopefully, we're getting there. Next on the list...

• The TV room. Knocking it down and starting again I think... (it's gone a very funny colour recently though!)
• The patio. Been waiting for summer to get going!
• The New new bike store - we'll get there eventually...
